16 mm LDPE drip supply pipe (16 mm (0.63" OD))

Used on: the main run in most European garden drip kits, feeding 13 mm branches and 4/7 mm micro tube.

16 mm LDPE is the workhorse drip main at 16 mm outside and about 13.6 mm bore. US half-inch tubing labelled 0.700 inch outside is larger, so a 16 mm fitting will not seal on 1/2 inch US tubing. Confirm the outside diameter before buying insert or compression fittings.

Quick-connect click fittings from Hozelock, Gardena and Karcher are proprietary and do not interchange. They all sit on top of a standard thread underneath, so the reliable way to move between brands is to adapt at the threaded tap or hose-end fitting, then use each brand's own connector above it.
