Not a direct fit. Joining 13 mm LDPE drip supply pipe to 16 mm LDPE drip supply pipe needs a 13 mm to 16 mm drip reducer.

The part to buy

Inside one 13/16 mm garden kit the 13 mm branch and 16 mm main still need different fittings: a 13 mm barb will not grip 16 mm pipe and a 16 mm barb splits 13 mm pipe. A 13-to-16 mm reducing coupler joins the two sizes where a branch leaves the main.

Do not force a 16 mm fitting into 13 mm pipe to save a part. It looks like it seats, then blows off under pressure. Use the reducer.
