S60x6 IBC buttress thread (S60x6 (DIN 6131))

Used on: The outlet valve thread on most European 1000 litre IBC totes.

S60x6 is a coarse 60 mm buttress thread with a 6 mm pitch, standardised as DIN 6131. It is a container thread, not a pipe thread, so it reaches a hose or camlock through a dedicated IBC adapter rather than a BSP fitting.

Quick-connect click fittings from Hozelock, Gardena and Karcher are proprietary and do not interchange. They all sit on top of a standard thread underneath, so the reliable way to move between brands is to adapt at the threaded tap or hose-end fitting, then use each brand's own connector above it.
