Used on: Transfer hoses, pumps, tankers and IBC outlets via a threaded adapter.

A camlock is a lever quick-coupling, not a screw thread. The 2 inch size is standardised under A-A-59326 and mates only to its opposite half (male adapter to female coupler). It reaches BSP or IBC threads through a threaded camlock adapter.

Quick-connect click fittings from Hozelock, Gardena and Karcher are proprietary and do not interchange. They all sit on top of a standard thread underneath, so the reliable way to move between brands is to adapt at the threaded tap or hose-end fitting, then use each brand's own connector above it.
