Connect 2" camlock (cam-and-groove) coupling to 1-1/2" BSP parallel (G1-1/2 / BSPP)
How to join 2" Type A / B (A-A-59326) and G1-1/2, and what stops it leaking.
Not a direct fit. Joining 2" camlock (cam-and-groove) coupling to 1-1/2" BSP parallel (G1-1/2 / BSPP) needs a 2 inch camlock to 1-1/2 BSP adapter.
The adapter to buy
A 2 inch camlock coupling reaches a 1-1/2 inch BSP pump or pipe through a threaded camlock adapter (a camlock half with a BSP thread on the back). The camlock end clamps its opposite half; the BSP end seals on a washer or tape.
The camlock only mates to its opposite type. A 2 inch Type F male will not connect to another Type F; match it to a Type D or DC coupler on the hose.
