A 25 mm pond hose over its hosetail sits around 25 to 35 mm outside, which a Jubilee size 1X clamps. Position the clip over the barbs and tighten until the hose visibly grips, without crushing the barb.
If a 25 mm hose keeps blowing off under pump pressure, the clip is either undersized or sitting behind the last barb. Move it over the barbed length and step up a clip size if needed.
