Connect M22 x 1.5 pressure-washer, 14 mm bore to M22 x 1.5 pressure-washer, 15 mm bore
How to join M22 x 1.5 (14 mm) and M22 x 1.5 (15 mm), and what stops it leaking.
Not a direct fit. Joining M22 x 1.5 pressure-washer, 14 mm bore to M22 x 1.5 pressure-washer, 15 mm bore needs a M22 14 mm to 15 mm pressure-washer adapter.
The adapter to buy
Both fittings share the same M22 x 1.5 external thread, so they screw together, but the internal spigot bore differs: 14 mm on Karcher, 15 mm on most others. The join can leak or the lance can foul. A 14-to-15 mm adapter, or fitting the correct O-ring, makes accessories interchangeable.
This is the most common pressure-washer leak. If a new lance leaks at the handle despite tightening, you almost certainly have a 14 versus 15 mm mismatch, not a faulty part.
