The part to buy

An S60x6 IBC outlet reaches a 2 inch BSP (G2) line through an IBC adapter that screws onto the buttress-threaded tote valve and presents a G2 parallel thread. From there a standard BSP hosetail, camlock or valve can be fitted. The IBC thread is a container thread, so the adapter is the only correct bridge to pipe fittings.

The 60 mm buttress will not cut into a BSP female, and a BSP male will not seal in the tote valve. The S60x6-to-G2 adapter carries both forms; match it to your tote thread, which is usually S60x6 but sometimes a coarser S60x4.
