The Nitto Japan-type and the US Industrial profile share a 1/4 inch body but are not compatible. Imported Japanese air tools arrive with a Nitto plug that will not seat in an Industrial coupler. Swap the plug for your shop profile, or fit an adapter, rather than forcing it.

The Nitto interchanges with Cejn 314/315 and Rectus 13, not with Milton Industrial. Check the plug on an imported tool before assuming it fits your line.
