These connect directly. 32 mm pond hosetail mates with 1" BSP parallel (G1 / BSPP) without an adapter.

A 32 mm pond hosetail carrying a 1 inch BSP thread screws directly onto a 1 inch BSP pump or filter port. Tape the thread, push the 32 mm hose onto the barb, and clamp it with a Jubilee clip. No adapter is needed when the barb thread matches the port.

Check the port really is 1 inch BSP and not 1 inch NPT on an imported pump. NPT and BSP are different forms at 1 inch and will not seal together without an adapter.
